The minimum Chapter Positions Required by WAI are:

President

Vice President

Secretary

Treasurer

Membership Chair

Outreach Chair

General Duties of Officers and Committee Chairs:

President:

Overall guidance and planning for chapter (in coordination with chapter officers/members). Set up calendar/schedule for each year. Ensure reports/actions are completed o time, with assistance from the Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary:

Yearly finacial filings
Chapter data and reports to HQ

Scholarship committee/choices

Nominations/chapter elections

 
Vice-President:
Assists President with all functions listed; provides backup as needed. be prime coordinator for school/outreach event requests.  Prepare and submit annual report to WAI Int'l and to State of Washington.

Secretary :

Manage email box in coordination with President and VP. Take/prepare and send meeting minutes. Assist with social media. Prepare Newsletter - monthly, quarterly, whatever cadence.

Treasurer :
Maintain chapter financial records, all incoming and outgoing funds. Pay expenses as directed by the president, Vice President and/or leadership team. Prepare monthly or quarterly reports. Do financial filings as required (like the 990N). Maintain our 501(c)3 status paperwork; provide email/mail copies as needed to appropriate entities

 
Membership Chair:
Maintain chapter roster
Add/delete members, advise WAI of updates, ensure payments are sent to WAI as needed. Maintain up-to-date chapter records including dues
Assist Pres/VP with membership outreach and retention, planning and hosting membership events.

Outreach Chair:
Maintain/update chapter Facebook page with current events, calendar, photos, invites, etc. 
Maintain up-to-date social media platforms, as agreed by leadership team (Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, etc).
Assist with developing, planning and hosting outreach events. 

Submit chapter event photos/news clips to WAI for publication in magazine under Chapter News
