Girls In Aviation Day At Harvey Field (Copy)
Girls in Aviation Day is our opportunity to give back to the community that supports us. Sign ups allow for about 35 middle school through high school aged girls to meet and interact with guest speakers from all areas of the Aviation field. Lunch is provided and a special fly in from the Life Flight Network helicopter.

National Aviation Week
Are you ready to celebrate National Aviation Week starting on August 19? The week is flooded with events such as conferences, exhibitions, webinars, etc. to celebrate the history of aviation. The week also coincides with National Aviation Day — an occasion that celebrates the Wright brothers. Are you wondering why this week needs to be celebrated? It’s because the creation of aviation has led to globalization, and has given us the ability to travel across the world! This year, recognize the importance of aviation and celebrate the week in full swing by honoring the geniuses that contributed to the spectacular invention.
Museum of Flight – Back to School Spacewalk! - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Our chapter has been invited to participate in this engaging and innovative event for school-age learners and families!
We need volunteers to staff a table at the Resource Fair, where we will have an interactive, hands-on craft, game, or demonstration, to encourage student learning through exploration.
The event takes place from 11:00AM - 3:00PM, with the Resource Fair beginning promptly at 1:00PM. We will need volunteers to set up between 12:00-12:30PM. Red Tailed Hawk Aviation Day Camp
Aviation Day Camp July 26 - 27, 2024 We introduce underrepresented middle and high school students in the Puget Sound area to the world of aviation. We provide them with basic pilot knowledge, provide hands-on STEM experiences, teach aviation history, and provide discovery flights in general aviation aircraft.

Aerospace Camp Experience is a day camp for the budding aviator, future astronaut, or simply curious camper!
ACE offers a blend of hands-on educational activities and access to the Museum’s collection with the fun of camp to stimulate a lifelong interest in science, connect with fellow learners and begin building lifelong friendships. All campers are welcome at ACE regardless of gender, race, national origin, or religious affiliation.
If your child has an inquiring mind and wants to have fun this summer exploring the world of STEM, aviation and aerospace, ACE is the camp for you!

Paine Field Community Day (Formerly known as Paine Field Aviation Day) -
We're excited for the return of this special event and our chapter is participating! This event is to introduce aviation to the youth in our community. There will be booths from FBO’s, Flight Schools, and Everett Community College, among others. Gates open at 9:00 am and are scheduled to close at 5:00 pm. Come out for a fun day complete with static GA and WWII military aircraft displays, as well as flights for Young Eagles! Please consider volunteering your time for this fun event! Girl Scout Aviation Day
Also on April 13th - The Girl Scouts of Western Washington is sponsoring an Aviation Day at Seattle MOF. Daisies, Brownies, and Juniors will earn a badge in workshops run by Museum educators, while Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors will learn about important (and fascinating!) aviation topics like sky management, meteorology, and flight safety through the lens of a crash investigation. Women In Aviation International Conference
In March 1990, 150 people gathered for the first Women in Aviation Conference in Prescott, Arizona, on the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University campus.
No one knew what to expect at that first conference, but after a weekend of networking, it was clear there was a need for more women in the aviation industry. Soon, the conference became an annual event, and in December 1994, Women in Aviation International was established as a professional, non-profit organization.
In 2022, WAI marked 33 years of coming together and held one of its largest and most successful annual gatherings March 17-19, 2022, in Nashville, Tennessee, at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center. WAI2022 delivered numerous opportunities to network, mentor, and share the trademark positive energy found at our annual conference. Our members make WAI the passionate, dynamic organization it is, and the future is bright as we make plans to gather for the 34th Annual WAI Conference February 23-25, 2023, in Long Beach, California.
In 2022:
A total attendance of more than 4,500 from around the world.
The exhibit hall hosted 176 separate companies and organizations representing all aspects of the aviation community.
A total of 103 scholarships were distributed to WAI members at every stage of life for both academic use, lifestyle enhancement, and flight training including type ratings. A total of $473,000 in scholarships was awarded during conference, which put the total scholarships awarded since 1995 to more than $14.5 million.
The WAI chapter network reached 153 global chapters in 22 countries worldwide.

For over three decades the Washington Aviation Association has been pleased to present the Northwest Aviation Conference & Trade Show at the Washington State Fair Events Center in Puyallup, Washington.

This event has grown to over 75 hours of safety seminars and 122,000 sf of aviation displays with an annual attendance of over 10,000.
This event is an opportunity to support the Northwest aviation industry, share ideas, learn new skills, be a safer pilot and create relationships with businesses, aircraft owners, and pilots.
