The Friends of Boeing Field is hosting an Airport Community Day event, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and our chapter is invited!!

 Airport Community Day is an opportunity to meet businesses and organizations around the airport to learn about what they do. Our chapter has been invited to participate, with displays and activities similar to what we do with WomenFly and Alaska Airlines Day.  This is an outdoor event, with STEM activities for children, static aircraft displays, and food trucks.

Volunteers are needed!!  2 shifts available: 9:00 am (setup)–1:00 pm and 12:00 – 4:00 (breakdown). Let us know of your interest by replying to washingtonwai.10@gmail.com  Deadline: July 10th!

 (Just prior to the Airport Community event, there is also a FOD Walk. FOD stands for "Foreign Object Debris" - items that could prove dangerous to aircraft and engines.)
